The writer says that inadequacy of knowledge of teachers will become less problematic in the future; because there will be additional courses for teachers in some fields. The validity of this conclusion depends on validity of evidences, and to evaluate the argument, we must first consider the assumptions and evidences.

First, it has been said that the problem will be solved with some extra cources. it is clear that teachers are considered educated, and they have passed several cources before the newly assigned ones. The writer must have made some points about the difference between new cources and teacher’s regular cources, and what make these cources more educating for teachers.

Also some evidence is required to show that the problem is really related to these cources. For example, cources in educational psycology might be irrelevent to lack of technical requirements for teaching in a particular cource. It is better to provide some evidence about the issue that problems with teachers are not related to technical and conceptual problems of the teacher, but to way of teaching itself.

Finally, there is no clear point about the group of teachers that must complete the cource. It must be mentioned that if current poor teachers must also take the cource, or only new teachers are required to do so. In latter case the solution seems to be a long-term solution and it can take some decades to improve the educational system. If these uncertainties are cleaned, the argument can be more persuasive, and better judgment can be made about the guideline.

It is clear now that fossil fuel sources are running out at a rapid pace, and if we don’t think of an alternative for fossil fuels, we will have problems in near future for demands of energy. It is critical to think about this alternative and try to find the best path. Nuclear power seems to be the solution, but its problems are serious obstacles.

The most obvious problem with nuclear power generators is the safety issue. In near past we have witnessed catastrophy of Chernobile, and the disaster followed. Fortunately some actions have been taken to prevent such explosions, but because of huge effects of such explosions, the problem is far more to be overlooked easily. Aside from safety of reactor itself, the problem with discarding the waste material is serious too. So far no successful solution for the problem of radioactive wastes is presented. And because of that, it is not suitable to call nuclear power clean. Maybe in future, problem with those toxious material become more challenging than problem with air polution.

Other thing that casts doubts on future of nuclear power generators, is presence of other sources such as solar power or wind power and even atomic fusion power plants. It is clear that process of preparing uranioum for nuclear reactors is a very expensive and time consuming process. But solar and wind power are completely free and hydrogen can readily be obtained from water of the oceans. Maybe if a fraction of expenses for preparing fuels for nuclear reactor is spent on research on these new sources of energy, a much cleaner and cheaper solution for future energy can be obtained.

One problem with nuclear power plants that sometimes remains unknown is low efficiency of turbines and power generators. This lower efficiency is a cause of elevation of average temperature of the earth. But, for instance, solar power has no excessive heat generated, thus no hurm to termal polution of the earth. Also, until sun is glowing or earth is moving, there is always solar and wind power available which is the most desired aspect of a source.

Safety, expenses, wastes problem, and many other issues, seem to be a great drowback against nuclear power, thus humans need a more satisfactory source than nuclear energy for their future.

The demand for energy is increasing with increase in population of the world. By having in mind that the sources of fossil fuel are getting depleted, people need to think of new sources of energy. The best solution available is to use nuclear power  generators.

Among new sources of power generation, nuclear power is the cheapest compared to amount of energy it can produce. For example, wind power or solar power have lower capability of producing electricity. Also these sources of energy still have serious problems that prevent them to become best solution for the future. As an example, in norhtern countries like Sweden, in winters there is a shoratge of amount of solar energy that is received. Instead nuclear power is virtually unlimited and can be found in sufficient amount in every country.

The only problem that might be counterd for nuclear power, is the safety of the reactor. But after catastrophy of Chernobile, strict standards have been assined for power plants, which have made nuclear power plants safer than many other power generators like fossil fuel generators.

As a conclusion, due to nearly evenly distribution of fuels, huge capability of producing energy and little amount of polution, nuclear power generation has the advantagoue of becoming the first source of power in the future.

After quite a long time, I’m back and I have a lot to say. But unfortunately I have a little time because I have an exam coming (Tarikh tahlili sadr eslam), and I must study it.

First, I think the problem with logging-in was due to HTTPS protocol of the wordpress which the proxy software didn’t support. Any way, because the other computer died, this one is now connected directly to the internet and I have no problem at the moment. Also I noticed that WordPress has changed its appearance, and I didn’t see any https format, so it must be OK to log-in from another computer.

Second is about our car design, which goes smoothly, but really slow. Since 3 weeks ago, we have been looking for a DC motor and we have not yet found a good one. Someone has a motor (maybe) but he is hesitating and delaying to sell it to us, so we decided to buy the motor from another seller with a higher price. The good thing about the latter is that it has the controller with itself and we don’t need to tell somebody to make a controller for us.

Third is the gearbox that we have nearly made it. The only thing left is the casing (the only thing that we are really making by ourselves ), and I think we can finish it in a few days.

Fourth (maybe it must be the first) is the funding. We don’t have enough money to finish the car. All we have must go for the motor and the controller, and little will remain.

fifth is braking system which we have bought the parts and we need to assemble it. (We don’t know how, though)

And the last thing is my English problems. I have enrolled in GRE exam but I don’t know even five percent of its words. I don’t have much time for practicing because of the car design, And I don’t know what I should do.

First look at our magnificent car. ( hey don’t laugh, It costs us 300k Tomans!)

This is a 1977 BMW 2002.  The car has neither engine nor gearbox, But it has good suspension and brakes (good means only one shock-absorber and its braking main cylinder are missing ) and as you can see an excellent body. (Don’t look at it that way, we separated its parts). Unfortunately we are going to discard the body and we only use its “front part” which works as the frame. A good thing in this car is that its “rear parts” can be readily separated from the car in an almost complete shape and intact.

I did’nt think that a car with nearly the same features as our design could exist.  But it seems that Germans has stolen our design ) I’m very happy that the MacPherson and semi-trailing arm suspension along with the differential mounted on the frame do exists! God thank you.

But now, our major problem is the body of the car. Sophisticated design of such body is far out of our skills; Besides, making the body from fiber-glass is expensive and time-consuming. The idea of building it from straight sheets of metal, is interesting because it is ( I think) the least complicated.  But it is the least striking as well. My suggestion was making it from cloth or something like that. It is innovative, simple, and inexpensive, but it has major defects. It is not fireproof (and so is fiber-glass), it may fly on high speeds (:)), Waterproofing is difficult and many other things; But no one deny it’s creativity.

The reason why I’m so fond of cloth body is BMW Gina (search in Google). It has a marvelous design in every subtle feature. Front lights, doors, hood, rear lights, and above all, its capability to be reshaped are really interesting.

Yesterday was a different day in my life. I don’t know if you already know about the electric car we are going to build (If you don’t, we are going to build an electric car). We started to look for suitable parts for the car, and there it began! After hours of walking in “Sa’di st.”, looking for electric motor, we got tired and decided to go to a restaurant and do some eating!

After having a nice chelo kabab, we decided to go to shoosh st. It was a really hot day, and I was tired. But there, I saw something that drew me out of myself; There it was, my dreams, a scrape car! a nice little Mini was standing (not so elegant indeed!) on top of some other scrapes. I wanted to ask the price, but the owner wasn’t there

There was many vast garages all  full of scrape cars. The last summer I was searching for such place, but I didn’t know where to go. The cars were inexpensive but not as cheap as I expected ( about 500k Tomans). Someone told us that we can find lower prices in places where cars are pressed. Just if I had a place to keep it, I would certainly buy the car

I’m really bored of sitting at home and doing nothing. With the university being closed, I have almost nowhere to go and nothing to do! After doing nothing at all, I came up with some imaginations. I started to think about buying a laptop. So I started to search for suitable laptops. First I had quite high expectations; Great performance, low price,high-end technology, spectacular design, ultra-light weight, etc. After some searches throughout the Internet, I figured out that there is no such laptop (of course!). I found some great laptops; Dell Studio XPS 13 and 16, XPS m1330 and m1530, Hp Pavilion, Lenovo Y-series, and many other cool laptops. All of them had something special, but none was good enough to meet my expectations. Light-weight laptops has limited performance (and somewhat expensive), and bigger ones are heavy to be a really portable laptops ( I do care about traveling light). There, I found Studio XPS 13, and XPS m1330 the best choices that can be found.

Studio XPS is the latest product of Dell and had some really significant features. It utilizes Core 2 Duo, Centrino 2 CPUs, DDR3 Rams, hybrid-SLI technology graphic card and exceptional performance. It has also a full-HD, LED-backlit display . But it has some big problems; It gets quite hot when undergoes heavy load, also it is heavier than mainstream 13″ laptops (it is 2.2Kg).

Next to Studio XPS 13, there is XPS M1330, which is ultra light laptop (1.8Kg); It has great performance compared to its class, and very fashionable design. Its only defect is its graphic card which is Geforce 8400M GS and that is a bit weak for gaming. And it is not as striking as Studio XPS. Also it’s been said that Studio XPS work more quiet than XPS, but XPS works longer with battery.
